He's gone from toddler size to infant and loves the longer length and happily clumped around the sitting room in them on a hot spring evening, refusing to remove them. He's a size 9 but I went for the 11 because of summer coming, so he won't get as much wear until the winter. But his school do outdoor/trail learning and it can rain a lot here in Cornwall and get muddy, so the extra thick lining (and another pair of socks) will help keep his feet secure. "
