That is the advice on website when buying for children but in my case the outcome has been excellent, comfortable to wear and so much easier to take off again afterwards. "I’ve been looking since last year for wellies for very muddy plantation/glen dog walks. Didn’t want to buy from the ‘big’ companies so I was very happy when I found this British family run business. I can be anywhere from a size 5 to a 6 but went for the 6 in the end and they are a great fit. Also great length for me, I am 5 8”. Just about put them on for another walk! "

"Really impressed at how comfy these are, and love that there is extra give on the calves. My only downside is that they are a quite snug, and had to take out the insoles for my feet to be confortable. I am usually a size 5, ordered a 6 and still had to take out insoles for them to fit comfortably, regardless I would 100% recommend to everyone I know, especially as winter boots. "
