Why we think we have the warmest kids' wellies ...
We always felt our kids' lined wellies were the best, but we needed evidence.
We were the first to produce neoprene lined wellies for kids because when our children were small, they cried over frozen toes. We had neoprene-lined wellingtons and were nice and warm, but our kids were always cold. When we designed the first kids lined wellies, we wanted them to be practical, affordable, comfortable and warm. We had great wellies at the start - and they've just got better and better.

But why are we so confident our wellies are the warmest?
We conducted a temperature test and found our wellies are 7 degrees warmer than standard wellies - all thanks to the neoprene lining. It also makes them super comfy.
What is the temperature test?
The Warm Wellies temperature test is a demonstration that compares our neoprene-lined wellies to standard cotton-lined boots. The test fills both pairs of boots with water at body temperature and places them in a container of ice-cold water with ice. After ten minutes, the Warm Wellies were shown to be 7 degrees Celsius warmer than the standard boots, proving they keep feet warmer for longer.
Our Method:
- Fill one pair of Warm Wellies and one pair of standard wellies with water at body temperature. Place both pairs into a bucket of ice-cold water.
- Measure the temperature of the water inside each boot after 10 minutes.
Our Result:
The water inside the Warm Wellies remained 7 degrees Celsius warmer than the water inside the standard wellies.
This demonstrates that the neoprene lining in Warm Wellies provides superior insulation compared to a standard cotton lining.
